1. Nature of Services

MAHA JOTHISH is an astrology consultation platform that connects users with independent astrologers to receive horoscope-based guidance and spiritual insights. All services provided on the Platform are interpretative in nature and are intended for entertainment, spiritual, and informational purposes only. MAHA JOTHISH does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or outcomes of any predictions or consultations.

2. Eligibility and Age Restriction

The Platform is strictly intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. An age confirmation mechanism is implemented during registration to restrict access to minors. If it is found that a user is under the age of 18, the account may be suspended or terminated.

3. No Professional Advice

The services provided on the Platform do not constitute medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. Users are advised to seek professional consultation where required. Any reliance on astrology services is at the user’s own risk.

4. User Account

Users must provide accurate, complete, and current information while creating an account and using the Platform. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities conducted through their account.

Users agree that any information shared about third parties, including family members, is provided only after obtaining proper consent from such individuals. The User shall be solely responsible for ensuring such consent.

5. Account Deletion

Users may request deletion of their account and associated personal data at any time in accordance with the procedures outlined in the Privacy Policy. Such requests may be submitted by contacting the support team or through in-app options (if available), and must include sufficient information to verify the user’s identity.

Upon successful verification, the account and associated data will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with applicable laws and platform policies. Deletion requests will generally be processed within a reasonable period, typically within 30 days from the date of verification.

Certain data may be retained where required for legal, regulatory, or fraud prevention purposes.

6. Payments and Pricing

All services on the Platform are paid services. Payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways such as CCAvenue and PayPal. MAHA JOTHISH does not store complete financial or card details. Applicable taxes, including GST, may be charged. International users may incur additional charges such as currency conversion or bank fees.

7. Wallet and Credits

The Platform may provide wallet-based credits which are non-transferable, non-refundable, and have no cash value. Any unused wallet balance may be forfeited upon account deletion unless otherwise required by applicable law.

8. Refund and Cancellation

Due to the digital nature of the services, refunds are generally not provided once a session has started or a report has been delivered. Refunds may be considered only in cases where payment has been deducted but the service was not provided, the astrologer failed to join, or there was a technical issue attributable to the Platform. Refund requests must be raised within 48 hours of the transaction. All refund decisions are subject to the Platform’s discretion.

9. Session Policy

Consultation sessions are time-based. Any delay on the part of the user may result in reduced session time. The Platform shall not be responsible for issues arising from the user’s device, internet connectivity, or external technical factors.

10. Consultation Records and Monitoring

Users acknowledge and consent that consultations, chats, calls, booking records, session duration details, communication metadata, timestamps, payment records, and related service logs may be stored, monitored, or processed for customer support, quality assurance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, training, and service improvement purposes in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

Where applicable law requires additional consent for recording, such consent shall be obtained separately.

11. Astrologer Disclaimer

Astrologers available on the Platform are independent professionals and are not employees or agents of MAHA JOTHISH. The Platform does not guarantee or verify the accuracy, effectiveness, or reliability of their advice.

11A. No Guarantee of Results

Astrology consultations, horoscope interpretations, predictions, remedies, compatibility analyses, spiritual guidance, and related services available through the Platform are based on individual interpretation and belief systems.

MAHA JOTHISH does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, effectiveness, or outcome of any prediction, recommendation, consultation, remedy, or guidance provided through the Platform.

Users acknowledge that all decisions and actions taken based on information obtained through the Platform are made solely at their own discretion and risk.

12. User Conduct

Users must not engage in unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or harmful activities on the Platform. Any violation may result in suspension or termination of the user’s account without prior notice.

13. User Content

Users grant MAHA JOTHISH a limited, non-exclusive license to use feedback, reviews, and content submitted by them for improving services and platform experience.

14. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to the Platform, including content, design, and branding, are owned by MAHA JOTHISH. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

15. Privacy

Use of the Platform is governed by the Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, users agree to the collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy.

16. Communication Consent

Users consent to receive communications such as emails, SMS, and messaging notifications related to their account and services. Users may opt out of promotional communications where applicable.

17. Third-Party Services

The Platform may use third-party service providers for payment processing, hosting, analytics, and communication services. MAHA JOTHISH shall not be responsible for failures or issues arising from such third-party services.

17A. Third-Party Authentication

The Platform may offer login and authentication services through third-party providers, including Google Sign-In and other supported authentication systems.

By choosing such authentication methods, users authorize the Platform to receive basic account information required for identity verification, account creation, and account management in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

17B. Analytics and Marketing Technologies

The Platform may use analytics, attribution, advertising measurement, fraud prevention, and performance monitoring technologies provided by trusted third-party service providers, including Google Firebase, AppsFlyer, Meta Technologies, and similar platforms.

Such technologies may collect technical and device-related information as described in the Privacy Policy for service improvement, campaign measurement, security, and operational purposes.

17C. Third-Party Astrology Services

Certain horoscope reports, astrological calculations, planetary charts, compatibility analyses, and related outputs may be generated or assisted through third-party astrology technology providers.

While reasonable efforts are made to ensure service availability, MAHA JOTHISH does not warrant the uninterrupted operation, accuracy, or completeness of information generated by such third-party systems.

17D. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Content

The Platform may use artificial intelligence technologies to generate, enhance, modify, or assist in creating images, graphics, illustrations, reports, recommendations, promotional materials, and other content.

AI-generated content is provided for informational, artistic, educational, promotional, and user experience purposes only and may not accurately represent actual persons, events, outcomes, or circumstances.

Users acknowledge that AI-generated content should not be relied upon as professional advice or as a guarantee of any future result.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MAHA JOTHISH, SAALYAV INFINITE PRIVATE LIMITED, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunities, or data arising out of or related to the use of the Platform or reliance upon astrology services.

The Platform shall not be responsible for decisions made by users based on consultations, predictions, recommendations, or information obtained through the Platform.

19. Force Majeure

The Platform shall not be liable for delays or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, technical failures, or governmental actions.

20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

21. Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes, parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably. If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to arbitration in Chennai in accordance with applicable laws.

22. Modifications

MAHA JOTHISH reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
